Easter Sunday Walking to Helmsley

On Sunday, 24th April, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Helmsley {SE 613 838} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Chop Gate {SE 559 994} and will take in Colt House, Ankness, Throstle Nest and Riccaldale.

The B-walk will also commence at Chop Gate and will visit Stable Holme, Carr Cote Ridge and Acre Grain.

The C-walk will set off from Newgate Bank {SE 564 888} and will pass through High Baxton's Farm, Carlton Grange and Riccaldale.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up (Billingham: 9.30 am, Stockton: 9.45 am and Acklam: 10.00 am).

Hello Martin,

Did you manage to get out on Sunday for this walk? If you did, sorry I missed you. We decided to go up to Langdon Beck Hotel and do three consecutive A-walks over the Easter period. The weather was excellet and the weather was superb.
