Sunday Walking to Middleton-in-Teesdale

On Sunday, 8th April, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Teesdale area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Middleton-in-Teesdale {NY 947 254} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Barnard Castle {NZ 049 166} and will take in Naby, Battle Hill, Race Yate and a section of the Pennine Way.

The B-walk will also commence in Barnard Castle and will visit Naby, Loupe's Hill, the Strathmore Arms and Lonton.

The C-walk will set off from Lartington {NZ 016 176} and will pass through Brisco, the Strathmore Arms and Lonton.

This is a Route 2 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Acklam: 9.15 am and Stockton: 9.30 am).
