Sunday Walking to Slapewath (and Meal)

On Sunday, 2nd December, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the North-Eastern area of the North York Moors. All walks will start from Gerrick Moor {NZ 705 119} and finish in Slapewath {NZ 642 158} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Castleton Pits, Danby Castle, Castleton, Brown Hill, Stanghow Moor and Aysdale Gate.
 
The B-walk will visit Danby Park, Brown Hill and Boosbeck.
 
The C-walk will pass through White Cross, Brown Hill and Boosbeck.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
 
Note: following these walks there will be a meal in the Fox and Hounds hostelry at Slapewath. The cost of this event (coach fare and meal) is £14-00 and must be pre-booked.
