Sunday Walking to Chop Gate

On Sunday, 26th May, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Chop Gate {SE 559 993} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Helmsley {SE 611 838} and will take in Howl Wood Farm, Hanging Stone and Stump Cross.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Helmsley and will visit Little Roppa, Low Mill, High Crookleith, and Low Crookleith.
 
The C-walk will set off from Newgate Bank {SE 563 889} and will pass through Little Roppa,Carr Cote Ridge, High Crookleith, and Low Crookleith.
 
After the walks, tea and scones will be available at the Village Hall in Chop Gate.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
