Summer Walking in Wales - 2013
During the month of June, a number of people from the Rambling Club participated in
walking expeditions in various parts of Wales.
We (Jane and Phil) had a fabulous ten-days walking in South-Wales, Mid-Wales
and North Wales.
From our 'base camp' near Rhayader {SN 940 665} we did three circular walks in the Elan Valley and circular walks in Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, the Gower
Peninsula, Aberystwyth and the Brecon Beacons. On our way home, we stopped two nights in
Llanberis and did a circular walk in Snowdonia - which took in an ascent of Snowdon.
