Sunday Walking to Helmsley

On Sunday, 9th February, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Helmsley {SE 610 838} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start from the B1257 road in Bilsdale {SE 567 974} and will take in Bride Stones, Stump Cross, Hasty Bank Farm and Ash Dale.
 
The B-walk will also commence in Bilsdale and will visit Carrcote Ridge, Howl Wood Farm and Ash Dale.
 
The C-walk will set off from Newgate Bank {SE 564 888} and will pass through Cowhouse Bank, Riccal Dale Wood and Ash Dale.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
