Sunday Walking to Rothbury

On Sunday, 28th September, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Coquetdale area of Northumberland. All walks will start at Weldon Bridge {NZ 137 985} and finish in Rothbury {NU 057 015} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Brinkheugh, Bushygap. The Lonning, Spylaw, Coquet Cairn, Simonside,The Beacon, and Whitton.
 
The B-walk will visit Bushygap, The Beacon, Dove Crag and Simonside.
 
The C-walk will pass through Longhaugh, Lordenshaw. Garleigh Moor and Whittondean.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).
