Sunday Walking to Helmsley

On Sunday, 17th January, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Helmsley {SE 611 838} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Chop Gate {SE 558 993} and will take in Tripsdale, Stump Cross, Hanging Stone and Howl Wood.
 
The B-walk will commence at Fangdale Beck {SE 572 946} and will visit Helm House, Shaken Bridge, Tylas Farm and Rievaulx Bridge.
 
The C-walk will set off from Newgate Bank {SE 564 888} and will pass through Ayton Bank, Clark Bank, Cowhouse Bank and Riccaldale.
