Sunday Walking to Castleton

On Sunday, 19th March, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Blakey Ridge area of the North York Moors. All walks will start at Little Blakey {SE 683 989} and finish in Castleton {NZ 684 079} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will take in Esk House, Spring House, Burton Howe and Great Hograh Moor.
 
The B-walk will follow a section of the Esk Valley Walk, and then visit Westerdale, Dale Head and Stormy Hall.
 
The C-walk will also follow a section of the Esk Valley Walk and will then pass through New House Farm, John Brekon Road and Carr House.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
