The SRC Autumn weekend will take place on the weekend of Friday 22nd September. We will be staying in the Gilsland Spa Hotel {NY635.676} near the Cumbria/Northumberland border - see the following map.

DAY 1 Details (Saturday walks)

On Saturday, 23rd September, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Talkin Fell area of East Cumbria. All walks will start and finish in Castle Carrock {NY542.554} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Jockey Shield, Gairs, Howgill, Tindale Tarn, Forest Head, Talkin Fell and Talkin.
 
The B-walk will visit Talkin Fell, Forest Head, and Howgill.
 
The C-walk will pass through Talkin Fell, Forest Head, and Howgill.
 

DAY 2 Details (Sunday Walks)

On Sunday, 24th September, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three circular walks from the Gilsland Spa Hotel {NY635.676} - see the following map.

The C-walk will pass through Crammel Linn, Curry's Rigg, a section of Hadrian's Wall and Gilsland.
