Sunday Walking to Stanhope

On Sunday, 18th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Weardale area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Stanhope {NY995.392} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Eastgate {NY952.387} and will take in Lintzgarth, Burnhope Dam, Wilkinson's Cut and Crawley Edge.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Eastgate and will visit Boltslaw Incline, Wilkinson's Cut, and Blackburn Rigg.
 
The C-walk will set off from Westgate {NY907.380} and will pass through Weardale Way, Bishop Seat, Rookhope Burn and East Gate.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).
