Sunday Walking to Slapewath (& Meal)

On Sunday, 8th December, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Highcliffe Nab area of the North York Moors . All walks will start at the CrossKeys Inn {NZ567.157} and finish in Slapeworth {NZ642.158} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Newton-under-Roseberry, Cliff Rigg Quarry, a section of the Cleveland Way and Highcliffe Nab.
 
The B-walk will visit Pinchinthorpe Hall, Hutton Gate and Highcliffe Nab.
 
The C-walk will pass through Pinchinthorpe, Hutton Village and Highcliffe Nab.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
 
Note: after the walks there will b a carvery at the Fox & Hounds hostelry in Slapeworth The cost of the meal and coach fare is £16-00. Bookings with payment to Anne McGovern (Tel: 01642-822769) or any committee member.
