Sunday Walking to Barnard Castle

On Sunday, 5th April, the Stockton Rambling Club will have four walks in the Barningham area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Barnard Castle {NZ050.165} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Greta Bridge {NZ086.131} and will take in Barningham, How Tallon, West Hope, Bowes and Smart Gill.
 
The B-walk will commence at Smallways {NZ112.111} and will visit Newsham, Barningham Moor, Black Hill Gate and Boldron.
 
The C-walk will set off from Barnard Castle {NZ050.165} and will follow a circular route that takes in a section of the Teesdale Way, Lartington, High Crag and Boldron.
 
There will also be a D-Walk.
 
This is a Route 2 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Acklam: 9.15 am and Stockton: 9.30 am).
