Sunday Walking to Slapewath

On Sunday, 5th December, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the East Cleveland area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Slapewath {NZ 642 158} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Wilton {NZ 583 202} and will take in Sandy Lane, Saltburn, Warsett Hill and Brotton.

The B-walk will also commence at Wilton and will visit Sandy Lane, Saltburn, Skelton and Skelton Green.

The C-walk will set off from Marske {NZ 635 223} and will pass through Saltburn and then go along the Clevelan Way towards Skelton.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Note: This event must be booked in advance and involves a post-walk meal at the Fox and Hounds Inn at Slapewath.
