Sunday Walking to Housesteads

On Sunday, 26th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Hadrian's Wall area of Northumberland. All walks will start at Brocolitia {NY 860 712} and finish in Housesteads {NY 794 685} - see the following map.
 


The A-walk will take in Pit Wood, Wark, Longlee Wood and a section of the Pennine Way.
 
The B-walk will visit Pit Wood, Sadbury Hill, a section of the Pennine way and a section of the Roman Wall.
 
The C-walk will pass through Great Lonbrough, Haughtongreen and a section of the Roman Wall.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).
