SRC Walking Weekend in Lancashire - May, 2013

As was the case last year (see here), our second visit to Lancashire (on the weekend of 10th May) was a tremendous success. Apart from the weather conditions, we had some superb walks in the Haslingden area (on Saturday) and the Darwen area (on Sunday).
 
On Saturday we had three circular walks from Leys End (commencing at the Duke of Wellington hostelry) {SD 766 229} while on Sunday we had three circular treks from Abbey Village (starting from the Hare and Hounds hostelry) {SD 643 223}.
