Sunday Walking to St John's Chapel

On Sunday, 18th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Weardale area of the County Durham region. All walks will finish in St John's Chapel {NY 884 379} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Stanhope {NY 992 393} and will take in Stanhope Burn, Bolt's Law and Rookhope.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Stanhope and will visit Stanhope Burn, Bolt's Law Incline and Rookhope.
 
The C-walk will set off from Eastgate {NY 952 387} and will pass through Rookhope, Pry Barn and a section of the Weardale Way.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).
