A-Walking: Great Broughton to Swainby
Despite the inclement weather, our three walks on Sunday, January 19th, each took place in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. The A-Walk started at Great Broughton while the B-Walk and C-Walk each set off from Clay Bank.
The A-Walk was led by Peter Cull - pictured below. There were five walkers in the group.
Our route covered a distance of 15 miles and took in Clay Bank, Carr Ridge, Urra Moor, Medd Crag, Seave Green, Cold Moor, Beak Hills, Lordstones, Carlton Bank, Gold Hill, Round Hill and Whorlton.
Many thanks to Peter for leading an excellent moorland walk.
