A-Walking: Sunderland Bridge Circular

Our three walks on Sunday, 12th January each took the form of circular routes from Sunderland Bridge in County Durham.
The A-Walk was led by Phil Barker (pictured below). Our route covered a distance of 16 miles and there were seven walkers in the group.

Our route took us to Holywell Hall, Tudhoe Lodge, the Brandon-Bishop Auckland Walkway, Furnace Mill Farm, Jubilee Bridge and Page Bank Bridge (using the Weardale Way), Whitworth Hall Country Park, Tudhoe Village, Nickynack Bridge, Coldstream Wood and Croxdale Viaduct. We arrived back in good time to enable us to enjoy some 'after-walk' refreshments in the Honest Lawyer Hotel in Sunderland Bridge.
A selection of some of the photos that we took during today's walking expedition can be seen by clicking on the pink button below:

Many thanks to Jane Thompson and Phil Barker for taking the photographs.
