Sunday Walking to Allenheads

On Sunday, 19th April, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Daddry Shield area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Allenheads {NY860.454} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Daddry Shield {NY894.378} and will take in Fairhills, High Rush, Wellhope, Kilhope Bridge and Byerhope Bridge.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Daddry Shield and will visit Wearhead, Cowshill, Wellhope and Carrier's Way.
 
The C-walk will set off from Allenheads {NY860.454} and will follow a circular route that takes in Eastend Burn, High Haddock Stones and Spartylea.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up and it is also an EARLY START (Acklam: 8.30 am, Stockton: 8.45 am and Billingham: 9.00 am).
