Wednesday Evening Walking from Hutton Village (2012-08-01)
On the evening of Wednesday, 1st August, nine mid-week walkers assembled at 7:00 pm in Hutton Village for a five-mile circular walk around the Guisborough area. The walk was led by Jane Thompson and Phil Barker.
The route that the group followed took in Blue Lake, Hanging Stone, a section of the Cleveland Way (Hutton Moor and Black Nab), Highcliff Nab, Kemplah Wood and Reed's Wood. Details of the route can be seen by clicking on the button below.
Throughout the evening the weather was kind to us and there were some good views from Hanging Stone and Highcliff Nab. At Hanging Stone, we were also able to watch a part of a cross-country race that was taking place at the same time as our walk!
Many thanks to Jane and Phil for planning and leading the walk.
