Sunday Walking to Lealholm

On Sunday, 6th November, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Esk Dale area of the North York Moors. All walks will start in Sleights {NZ 866 080} and finish in Lealholm {NZ 763 077} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Goathland Banks, Arundel Hill, Murk Esk and Delves.

The B-walk will visit Grosmont, Key Green, Carr End and Underpark Farm.

The C-walk will pass through Priory Farm, Egton Bridge, Carr End and Underpark Farm.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Sunday Walking to Guisborough

On Sunday, 30th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Danby area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Guisborough {NZ 614 158} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Guisborough {NZ 614 158} and will follow a circular route that takes in Percy Rigg, Scale Cross, North Ings and Three Howes.

The B-walk will commence at Danby Lodge {NZ 716 084} and will visit Dibble Bridge, Kildale Moor and Percy Cross.

The C-walk will set off from Danby {NZ 707 086} and will pass through Box Hall, North Ings, Gisborough Moor and Belman Bank.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Club Weekend in Disley - Sunday Walks

On Sunday, 9th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park - see the following map. All walks will start and finish at the Moorside Grange Hotel {SJ 984 822}.

The A-walk will take in Cage Hill, a section of the Gritstone Trail, Bow Stones and Green Booth.

The B-walk will visit the Macclesfield Canal, Knight's Law and Bow Stones.

The C-walk will pass near Lyme Park, Macclesfield Canal and Elmerhurst Cottage.


Club Weekend - Disley (Saturday walks)

On Saturday, 8th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park. All walks will finish at the Winking Man pub on the A53 road {SK 026 637} - see the following map.

The B-walk will also start at the Cat and Fiddle hostelry and will visit Dane Valley, Lud's Church, The Roaches and Upper Hulme.

The C-walk will start at Upper Hulme {SK 012 609} and will take in The Roaches, Lud's Church and Gradbach.
