Sunday Walking to Slapewath

On Sunday, 6th December, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Moorsholm area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Slapewath {NZ 642 158} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Grinkle Lane {NZ 730 125} and will take in Gerrick, Moorsholm, Kilton Thorpe and North Skelton.
 
The B-walk will commence at Gerrick Lane {NZ 704 120} and will visit Three Howes, Moorsholm, Kilton Thorpe and North Skelton.
 
The C-walk will set off from Stanghow Road {NZ 669 142} and will pass through Moorsholm, Kilton Thorpe and North Skelton.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
 
Note: following the walks there will be a meal in the carvery at the Fox & Hounds hostelry in Slapewath. This event must be pre-booked and costs £15-00 inclusive of coach fare and meal. Contact: 01642-586643 for more details.
