Sunday Walking to Stokesley

On Sunday, 5th January, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Great Ayton area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Stokesley {NZ530.085} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Pinchinthorpe {NZ583.152} and will take in Hutton Gate, Highcliffe Nab and Captain Cook's monument.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Pinchinthorpe and will visit Hutton Gate, Hutton Moor and Captain Cook's monument.
 
The C-walk will set off from Ormesby Bank {NZ541.158} and will pass through Newton-under-Roseberry and Great Ayton.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Over the Christmas period, Thursday 19th December through Tuesday 31st December, Stockton Rambling Club has a series of car walks available.
 
These walks will all start at 10:00 am from the designated starting point. They will all be at C-Pace and will not be longer than 8 miles.

The A-walk will start at Nunthorpe Hall {NZ540.132} and will take in Roseberry Topping, Great Ayton Moor abd Captain Cook's Monument.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Nunthorpe Hall and will visit Cliff Ridge Wood, Great Ayton, Easby, Ingleby Greenhow and Battersby.
 
The C-walk will set off from near Nunthorpe Hall and will pass through Quarry Hill, Great Ayton, Easby, Battersby Junction and Battersby.
