Sunday Walking to Edmundbyers

On Sunday, 6th July, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Weardale area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Edmundbyers {NZ 016 500} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Wolsingham {NZ 074 372} and will take in Frosterley, Fatherley Hill, Collier Law and Hawkburn Head.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Wolsingham and will visit High Jofless, Salter's Gate, Waskerley and Lambshield.
 
The C-walk will set off from High Stoop {NZ 103 402} and will pass through Salter's Ridge, Waskerley and Smiddy Shaw.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).

Early July Mid-Week Walking (2014-06-30)

During the week beginning 30th June, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.
 


The evening walk is on Wednesday, 2nd July and will start at 7.00 pm from The Jet Miners hostelry in Great Broughton {NZ 547 062} - see the map below.
