Sunday Walking to Great Ayton

On Sunday, 6th March, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the north-western area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Great Ayton {NZ 562 106} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Gerrick Moor {NZ 705 119} and will take in Castleton, Westerdale Moor and Baysdale Abbey.
 
The B-walk will commence at Freeborough Road {NZ 691 129} and will visit Three Howes Rigg, Scale Cross, Maddy House and Kildale.
 
The C-walk will set off from Slapewath {NZ 641 158} and will pass through Hutton Moor, Percy Cross and Captain Cook's Monument.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
