Sunday Walking to Wolsingham

On Sunday, 3rd April, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Weardale area of County Durham. All walks will finish in Wolsingham {NZ 076 372} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Fir Tree {NZ 137 347} and will take in Wadley, Harperley, Shipley, Bedburn, Potatoe Hill and Allotmant House.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Fir Tree and will visit Harperley, Shipley, Hoppyland, Doctors Gate and East Biggins.
 
The C-walk will set off from Wolsingham and will follow a circular route that passes through Park Wall, Tunstall Reservoir and Quarry Wood.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).

The B-walk will commence at Aislaby {NZ 858 086} and will visit Grosmont, Green End, Goathland, Beck Hole and Murk Esk.
 
The C-walk will set off from Barton Howle {NZ 805 085} and will pass through Church Dale Farm, Butter Park and Struntry Carr.

The A-walk will start at Scaling Dam {NZ 741 127} and will take in Roxby High Moor, Ugthorpe, Mickelby, Hob Holes and Runswick Bay.
 
The B-walk will commence at Scaling {NZ 744 128} and will visit Mickelby, Hob Holes, Runswick Bay, and a section of the Cleveland Way.
 
The C-walk will also set off from Scaling Dam and will pass through Stang Howe, Ellerby, Runswick Bay and Port Mulgrave.
