Early-August Mid-Week Walking (2016-08-01)

During the week beginning 1st August, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.
 


The evening walk is on Wednesday, 3rd August and will start at 7.00 pm from the minor road just north of the A171 Guisborough bypass near Woodhouse roundabout {NZ 594 160} - see the map below.

Sunday Walking to Hawes

On Sunday, 31st July, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Wensleydale area of North Yorkshire region. All walks will finish in Hawes {SD 874 898} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start and finish in Hawes {SD 874 898} and will take in a section of the Pennine Way, Crag End Beacon, Cotterdale, The High Way and Appersett.
 
The B-walk will commence at Aysgarth Falls {SE 012 887} and will visit Carperby, Newbiggin, Helm, Sedbusk and Hardraw.
 
The C-walk will set off from Aysgarth {SE 002 884} and will pass through Nappa Mill, Askrigg, Skell Gill, Sedbusk and a section of the Pennine Way.
 
This is a Route 2 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Acklam: 9.15 am and Stockton: 9.30 am).
