Early-June Mid-Week Walking (2018-06-06)

During the week beginning 4th June, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.
 


The evening walk is on Wednesday, 6th June and will start at 7.00 pm from Gribdale Gate near Great Ayton {NZ593.110} - see the map below.

Sunday Walking to Kilburn

On Sunday, 3rd June, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the South-Western area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Kilburn {SE512.796} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Osmotherley {SE456.972} and will take in a section of the Cleveland Way, Sutton Bank,and the White Horse.
 
The B-walk will commence at Ox Bank {SE441.926} and will visit Kepwick, Cowesby, Boltby Gormire and Hood Grange.
 
The C-walk will set off from Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe {SE485.825} and will pass through Southwoods, Sutton Bank and Scotch Corner.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

LAKES DAY: Sunday Walking to Keswick

On Sunday, 27th May, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Braithwaite area of the Lake District. All walks will finish in Keswick {NY267.233} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Braithwaite {NY231.236} and will take in Crag Hill, Coledale Hause, Hopegill Head and Grisedale Pike.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Braithwaite and will visit Coledale Hause, Grisedale Pike, Braithwaite, Ullock and Portinscale.
 
The C-walk will set off from Portinscale {NY250.236} and will pass through Cat Bells Terrace, Grange and Lodore.
 
This is a Route 2 coach pick-up and it is also an EARLY START (Billingham: 8.30 am, Acklam: 8.45 am and Stockton: 9.00 am).
 
NOTE: There will be an extra 30 minutes after the walks before the coach leaves Keswick.
