Sunday Walking to Sedbergh

On Sunday, 2nd September, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Howgills area of South-East Cumbria. All walks will finish in Sedbergh {SD659.921} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Ash Fell {NY743.051} and will take in Ravenstonedale, Round Hill, West Fell, The Calf and Winders.
 
The B-walk will commence at Newbiggin-on-Lune {NY705.501} and will visit Bowderdale Foot, The Calf and Calders.
 
The C-walk will set off from Ravenstonedale {NY724.040} and will pass through Wandale, Cautley Beck, Elerthwaite and Underbank.
 
This is a Route 2 coach pick-up and is also an EARLY START (Billingham: 8.30 am, NO ACKLAM PICKUP and Stockton: 8.45 am).
 
NOTE:
There is no Acklam Pick up due to the road race.

On Sunday, 26th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the North-Eastern coastal area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Runswick Bay Bank Top {NZ806.161} - see the following maps.

Sunday Walking to Housesteads

On Sunday, 19th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Hadrian's Wall area of Northumberland. All walks will start at Brocolitia {NY860.712} and finish in Housesteads {NY794.684} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Pitt Wood, Wark, Longlee Rigg and a section of the Pennine Way.
 
The B-walk will visit Pitt Wood, Sadbury Hill, a section of the Pennine Way and the Roman Wall.
 
The C-walk will pass through Great Lonbrough, Haughtongreen and the Roman Wall.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up. It is also an EARLY START (Acklam: 8.30 am, Stockton: 8.45 am and Billingham: 9.00 am).
