Sunday Walking to Grassington

On Sunday, 4th September, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Wharfedale area of North Yorkshire. All walks will start at Bolton Abbey {SE 072 539} and finish in Grassington {SE 002 639} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Hare Head Side, Sun More Hill and Rylstone.

The B-walk will also visit Hare Head Side, Sun More Hill and Rylstone.

The C-walk will pass along a secton of the Dales Way and The Strid.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Note 1: This event must be pre-booked.

Note 2: The Acklam pick-up will be at Croft Avenue opposite Cranfield Gardens due to the road race.

Sunday Walking to Rosedale Abbey

On Sunday, 28th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the south-western area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Rosedale Abbey {SE 724 959} - see the following map.

The C-walk will set off from Kirbymoorside {SE 697 864} and will pass through Duna Lodge, Appleton-le-Moors and Hartoft Bridge.
