Sunday Walking to Swainby

On Sunday, 7th August, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Bilsdale area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Swainby {NZ 476 022} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Fangdale Beck {SE 572 946} and will take in Moor Gate, Green Howe, Brian's Pond, Carlton Bank and Gold Hill.

The B-walk will also commence at Fangdale Beck and will visit Wades Hut, Brian's Pond, Gold Hill and Faceby.

The C-walk will set off from Clay Bank {NZ 576 034} and will pass through Garfit Gap, Busby Moor, Carlton and Faceby.

This is a Route 1 coach pick (Billingham: 9.30 am, Stockton: 9.45 am and Acklam: 10.00 am).

The A-walk will start at Ox Bank {SE 431 926} and will take in Nether Silton, Thorodale, Dale Head and Stony Ridge.

The B-walk will commence at Swainby and will visit Osmotherly, Thimbleby and Sheepwash.

The C-walk will also set off from Ox Bank and will pass through Hanging Stone, Oakdale and Sheepwash.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up and is also an early start (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).
