Sunday Walking to Sleights

On Sunday, 5th July, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the South-Western area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Sleights {NZ 867 080} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at High Park Farm {NZ 783 105} and will take in Mickleby, Sandsend and Raithwaite.
 
The B-walk will commence at Kempstone Rigg {NZ 837 085} and will visit Grosmont, Green End, Arundell Hill.
 
The C-walk will set off from High Park Farm {NZ 783 105} and will pass through Ugthorpe, Peel Wood and Dunsley Moor.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Acklam: 9.30 am).

Early-July Mid-Week Walking (2015-06-29)

During the week beginning 29th June, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.
 


The evening walk is on Wednesday, 1st July and will start at 7.00 pm from the A1085 coast-road car park opposite Bydales School in Marske-by-the-Sea {NZ 632-233} - see the map below.

Sunday Walking to Sedbergh

On Sunday, 28th June, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Howgill Fells area of Cumbria. All walks will finish in Sedbergh {SD 661 921} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Crooks Beck {NY 742 029} and will take in Bowber Head, Cautley Spout, The Calf, Calders and Winder.
 
The B-walk will commence at Sedbergh and will follow a circular route that takes in High Hollins, Roantree, High Hall, Dent, and a section of the Dales Way.
 
The C-walk will also follow a circular route from Sedbergh and will pass through Birks, Luneside, Lincoln's Inn Bridge and Fox's Pulpit.
